Rev. James K. Williams is a resident of Paterson, NJ where he resides with his wife Sharon Williams and two daughters. He is a loving husband and dedicated father to Ebony & Nia Williams.  Rev. Williams is a chosen child of God who is beloved by many local ministers.  He is the oldest son of Maxine and Willie Williams and a true servant of God who has the heart of ministry.

 
Rev. Williams was a childhood member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Garfield, NJ, where he served as a Junior Deacon under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Calvin McKinney.  In 1990 he moved his membership to Friendship Baptist Church under the late Rev. R.J. Cornish Sr. and was licensed to preach in June 1992.  Rev. Williams served as an associate minister until he joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church, South Hackensack, NJ under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Robert L. Curry in 1993.  Rev. Williams was ordained on May 31, 1998 by the Permanent Council of North Jersey District Missionary Baptist Association.
 
Rev. Williams has earned many certificates through correspondence courses of the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, Illinois.  He continues his Evangelical training through correspondence courses.  Rev. Williams is a demonstrated leader with the ability to work with others.  Rev. Williams is a supporter of other ministries and churches.  Rev, Williams is well known and has preached in many churches throughout the state of New Jersey. One of his favorite scriptures is "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19 (KJV)
 
Rev. Williams was called to Pastor the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Hoboken, NJ on April 28, 2007. Through the office of Pastor, he believes he can reach the heart of many men, women , boys and girls through the word of Jesus Christ.  Rev. Williams believes in escalating the level of worship and expanding the gospel through
different ministries. His motto is "To build the people up so that they may go out and serve and bring others to Christ.:
